We own the rights to use the name "Bay Area Role Playing Society" and "BayRPS" and have legal obligations to protect its usage. In addition the BayRPS is Copyrighted name & can not be used without written permission.
Obviously if you use the BayRPS name or associate it with an event then you can be held responsible and liable for damages as it is illegal to use a copyrighted name to generate money or sell products without permission. This is called - committing fraud & you can be prosecuted for it.
In short, we insist that you DO NOT USE the BayRPS in advertising or planning
game days without first getting permission
specifically from us.
